Human race experienced several "media revolutions" in the history. And the media revolution which we are faced with is the one characterized by the expression of "digitally-unified".
"Digitally-unified" means :
different types of materials (sound, text, picture, movie, . . . . ) are digitally unified to an information, and
the information is delivered by means of Internet (IP protocol network).
"Multimedia", which is a keyword of the current media revolution, is an expression of "digital unification of different kinds of media".
