    マウスをつないで起動したためなのか，CUI ではなく GUI で起ち上がった。

    「Welcome to Raapberry Pi」のダイアログウィンドウが開く。

  1. Welcome to the Raspberry Pi Desktop!
    Before you start using it, there are a few things to set up.
    Press 'Next' to get started.
    (「IP:169.254.3.182」の表示がある)
    「Next」をクリック

  2. Set Country
    Enter the details of your location.
    This si used to set the language, time zone, keyboard and other international settings/
    つぎのように設定：
      Country: Japan
      Language: Japanese
      Timezone: Tokyo
      Use English language : ✓
      Use US keyboard : ✓
    Press 'Next' when you have made your selection
    「Next」をクリック

  3. Change Password
    The default 'pi' user account currently has the password 'raspberry'.
    It is strongly recommended that you change this to a different password that only know.
      Enter new password:
      Confirm new password:
      Hide characters : ✓
    このときは変更しなかったが，PC から ssh を使うときにいちいち警告されて煩わしいので，変えるのがよい。
    コマンドラインで変更するときは
      $ passwd pi
    Press 'Nex' to activate our new password.
    「Next」をクリック

  4. Set Up Screen
    The desktop should fill the entire screen.
    Tick the box below if your screen has a black border at the edges.
      □ This screen shows a black border around the desktop
    Press 'Nex' to save your setting.
    The change will take effect when the Pi is restarted. デスクトップはスクリーン全体になっているので，チェックボックスを空白にしたまま「Next」をクリック

  5. Select WiFi Network
    Select your WiFi network from the list.
    この度接続を設定しようとするのは「pr500k-5a60e2-1」と「pr500k-5a60e2-2」であるが，これがリストの中に現れている。
    Press 'Next' to connect, or 'Skip' to continue without connecting.

    pr500k-5a60e2-2 を選択して 「Next」をクリック

  6. Enter WiFi Password
    Enter the passwordd for the WiFi network "pr500k-5a60e2-2".
    Password: (PSK を入力)
    Press 'Next' to connect, or 'Skip' to continue without connecting.
    この度は Wi-Fi 接続の許可をルータですることにしており，その設定がまだなので，この段階では接続されない。
    しかし 「Next」をクリックするとどうなるかを見るため，試しに「Next」をクリック。

  7. 接続を試みている表示があって，接続出来ないのメッセージになる。
    「Skip」をクリック。


  8. Update　Software
    The operating system and applications will now be checked and updated if necessary.
    This may involve a large download.
    Press 'Next' to check and update software, or 'Skip' to continue without checking.
    この段階では Raspberry Pi はまだインターネットとつながっていないので，Update Software は成らない。
    しかし「Next」をクリックするとどうなるかを見るため，試しに「Next」をクリック。

  9. 「Synchronising clock - please wait...」の表示になる。
    そして「Could not sync time - unable to check for updates」の表示で終了。
    「OK」をクリック。

    「Skip」をクリック。


  10. Setup Complete
    Your Raspberry Pi is now set up and ready to go.
    To run applications, click the raspberry icon in the top left corner of the screen to open the menu.
    「Done」をクリック。
